Goodwill Games - 2001

Ross Walker in a prior role, successfully tendered for the 2001 Goodwill Games. Ross provided a complete administrative and programming function for the Games and was personally responsible as Lead Agent to the 2001 Goodwill Games management for all aspects of service delivery for Athletes, VIP’s and media.

Deborah Chatwin was heavily involved in discussions and the planning of transport leading up to the games and was appointed a key role in the Transport Operations Centre handling operational matters, charter bookings and airport transfers.

Terry Clarke was employed as a troubleshooter on the ground and roved between major transport hubs co–ordinating ground staff and liaising with the Transport Operations Centre.
CBL also made a considerable contribution to the service delivery of the 2001 Goodwill Games through the chartering of its coach fleet and drivers.

Service delivery included all shuttle buses, speciality charters and door to door airport transfers. The 2001 Goodwill Games were also regarded as a highly successful event for the City of Brisbane.
